Leyla Lewis
as Elise
Leyla is a junior and has performed in Decision Height where they received BTA Best Actress and crewed as Sound Operator for Almost, Maine. In 2021, they made a documentary focusing on the research of PTSD. Leyla is the Vice President of Bruin Theatre Alliance. They have a 3.9 GPA and a 23 on the ACT. Leyla also does morning announcements. In their free time, Leyla enjoys writing and creative things like singing! Leyla also loves their theater classmates and Mrs. Lanson. Their connection with the Theater Program has grown so much.

Roger Agurcia-Mejia
as Valere
Roger is a sophomore and has been a part of the JPPSS Talented Theatre program for less than 1 year. He has been playing piano for about 5-6 years and guitar/bass for more than 2 years. Roger is also enrolled in AP Art where he is working with 2D art submissions for his portfolio. With the help of theatre students, Roger is excited to work on a character like Valere. "It's a new character that's like me in some ways, not really, but at the same time is not like me so I'm excited to get a new challenge." One of his favorite sayings is "You must eat to live, not live to eat’’.

Dorian Horton

Dorian is a senior and has been a part of the Bruin Theatre Alliance for 1 year. He serves as a member of NTHS, is a dedicated theater student, spends an abundant amount of time contributing and furthering his bond with the alliance, and does the school’s afternoon announcements. He worked as a backstage crew for Almost, Maine, Stage Managing and sound cues for Decision Height, and is now performing as the second lead role in The Miser. He was voted onto Bonnabel’s 2022 homecoming court. He has a love for cosmetology and dreams of being a future beauty guru, MUA, and social media influencer. After graduation, he plans on majoring in Film Arts in college to enhance his upcoming acting career.
