In the year of “The Flood”, I made my Brüka debut as Cabot in Eugene O’Neill’s “Desire Under the Elms”. Nearly 25 years later, in the “Year of the Smoke”, it’s fitting to find myself expectantly waiting under the willow tree. “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.” - Proverbs 13:12
Myron Freedman

as Estragon

Welcome back to the theatre everyone! Myron is honored to have waited and worked with this talented crew for close to two years. His previous Brüka performance was in The Real Inspector Hound. Most recently he appeared in Harvey at RLT, and as Mother Gigogne in Carson City’s 2019 production of The Nutcracker. Growing up in Reno he performed with all the local theatre groups of the day. After graduating from UNR’s theatre program he went on to act, direct, and design for companies in the Bay Area, St. Louis, and in Chicago where he served as Artistic Director of the Chicago Shakespeare Company.
Joel Barber

as Pozzo

This is Joel's third performance with Brüka, previously appearing in Inspector Hound and The Crucible. He has also appeared with Sierra School of Performing Arts production of The Wizard of Oz and as Tevya in Fiddler on the Roof. He is a local attorney married to his wife Ja-non and has twins, Ethan and Sydney, born on 9-11-2001. His twins are presently attending UNR.

Lew is set designer, President of The Brüka Board, Architect, Jub Jub Instigator and manifester of all things magical.
