  • Wendy Bramlett

    Director

    Wendy is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University in Denton, where she worked in the theatre, music and dance departments, graduating with a B.A. in Acting. Ms. Bramlett is the 2013 winner of the North Texas Drama Teacher of the Year Award and the director of the Betty Buckley Nominated South Pacific, the Betty Buckley and DSMHSMTA nominated Thoroughly Modern Millie for which BNHS took home the award for Best Direction, the DSMHSMTA nominated Addams Family, the Betty Buckley nominated The Drowsy Chaperone and Beauty and the Beast the DSMHSMTA nominated Godspell and the Buckley nominated Guys and Dolls, last year. She had the great honor of being the “Educator of the Year” for 2020-2021 at Byron Nelson High School, where she has been the theatre director for the last 12 years. She would like to thank her mom for all she does for her and her friends for their unending support. She is so proud of this company and can’t wait for you to see what they can do! 

  • Emma Horn

    Technical Director

    Emma is so honored to be apart of this team for first time as a faculty member. Emma is a 2017 graduate of the BNHS theatre department. She continued her education at Oklahoma State, concentrating in stage management. She is the winner of the 2017 Betty Lynn Buckley Award in Sound Design Excellence. She is incredibly grateful to her students and fellow Director, Wendy Bramlett for all the support and amazing work. Wendy has been the best mentor she could ask for. Emma would like to thank her student designers and crew heads for their devotion to the department. She is extremely grateful to all her students for their incredible passion and commitment to technical theatre. She thanks the parents for their endless support of the department and their children. Finally, she would like to thank her own parents and friends for their love and support. 

  • Meredith Tompkins

    Vocal Director

    Meredith Tompkins joins the BNHS fine arts program in her second year as Assistant Choir Director. She holds a B.M. from DBU in Theory/Composition, an M.A. in Vocal Pedagogy from TWU, and she is an All-State Mixed Choir alumnus. In her spare time, Mrs. Tompkins sings with DFW area pro-choirs. As a composer, her music has been featured in sessions at ACDA, TCDA, and other national conventions. She would like to thank her husband Micah, Mr. Sikon, and the wonderful students and faculty involved in this show who have been such a joy to work with.
