Liverpool Legends with the Cape Central High School Orchestra - September 10

Cape Central High School

 End Notes

Notes from the orchestra director:

When I started teaching orchestra 10 years ago, I never imagined a show like this would be a possibility for public school orchestra students.  When I joined the staff at Cape Central in 2013, I was excited about the potential for performing with guest artists.  We have truly been blessed with a beautiful performance hall to make this a possiblity.

In January of this year, I attended the Missouri Music Educator's Conference and met a representative for Liverpool Legends.  The more I talked with them and other directors about their experience with the show, the more I wanted to bring them to Cape.

With the success of this show, and hopeful anticipation for our upcoming season, we are confident that our students will develop and strenghthen a life-long appreciation for the performing arts in our school, community and abroad.

Congratulations and best of luck, Cape Central, on a full and exciting season!
