Cory Steiger
Director
Cory Steiger has been involved at Centerstage Academy since 2009, when he began as a student. He has loved growing as a volunteer, intern, and director for several productions, including last summer's hit production of Disney's Tarzan. He recently graduated with a B.A. in Fine and Performing Arts from Christopher Newport University and just finished touring with Virginia Repertory Theatre for their Spring 2017 season. Favorite acting credits include Almost, Maine (Pete/Steve/Dan) and Into the Woods (Jack) at Christopher Newport University, Big River (Huckleberry Finn) and Hairspray (Brad) at Peninsula Community Theatre. He is very excited to tour again this fall and spring with Virginia Repertory Theatre and reprise his role as Huck!

Chloe Youtsey
Musical Direction
Chloe Youtsey is joining us for her 2nd year as music director fresh out of JMU having graduated with a degree in Jazz Studies and Vocal Performance. She has already spun the gamut of musical endeavors, having played the lead of Cinderella in her first musical at GHS, played piano for the JMU jazz ensemble, lent her voice to the bands Philosophunk and Cold Media, lead a combo for years as band leader, and currently serves as the featured artist at restaurants, cafes, and wineries, a private voice instructor, and a wedding performer. In addition to writing and recording her own music, Chloe frequents locations such as Clementine's in Harrisonburg and Aromas in Williamsburg covering oldies, R&B, jazz, bossa nova, and "tasteful" pop. Directing musicals has been a gracious stroke of fate that has turned into one of the most rewarding experiences the Lord has graced her with, being a place of tremendous growth and joy.
