 Who's Who

  • Natasha Chacón head shot

    as Themselves

Natasha is 33 and still searching for her calling. At 6, she thought it was acting. After a self-explorative half-year adventure in Brooklyn, New York, she moved back to California to study the Alexander Technique for 3 years. This technique changed her in a very powerful way, and she teaches it to people who are curious enough to learn something radical and different than anything else. When she teaches, she teaches with grace, beauty, and love. Grateful to revisit her theatre roots through this virtual protest course at Chabot, Nati thanks the MADNESS cast and team for all of their insightful contributions, their grounded energy, and all of their love and passion towards exposing the incarceration system for the dehumanizing experience it truly is.

    as Themselves

Vanessa recently graduated with a degree in Apparel Design and Merchandising, but decided to go back to Chabot to study Theater/Acting which is something she has always wanted to do. She worked on last year’s Chabot production, “The 2020 Experience: School Edition,” directed by Margo Hall. It is one of her favorite experiences. Outside of theater, Vanessa enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her sister watching their favorite TV shows and movies. She is concurrently working on a film project with her friend learning things that go on behind the camera. She is very thankful for the experiences she has had in the Chabot Theater Program, for the amazing people she has met, and the knowledge she has gained along the way.

    as Themselves

Jack is a person interested in arts, activism, hiking, and a consumer of caffeine. Jack has had the opportunity to work on various productions with Chabot Theater and has met talented, kind people. Water by the Spoonful directed by Joel Muellenix and The 2020 Experience: School Edition directed by Margo Hall were two of the most recent additions. Jack hopes to learn how to make a perfect cappuccino, focus on a few music projects, and to continually find new art and experiences.
