Letter from the Director: 

In 2006, Disney Channel released what would go on to become the most successful Disney Channel Original Movie of all time, spawning two sequels, a stage show, and a television series. Beyond the catchy tunes and toe-tapping dance numbers, High School Musical’s story of standing against peer pressure and pursuing your dreams in the face of adversity continues to speak to us today and stands as an incredibly important message for all of society, but especially to students discovering who they are through the twists and turns of middle school and high school. Throughout the past two years, people throughout the world have been facing unprecedented times as the Covid-19 pandemic has changed our lives. For our students, that has meant changing how they learn, how the interact with each other, and how they see the world around them. They have faced so many changes in their lives at an age when they are already under pressure to figure out who they are and where they fit in. We are so excited to be able to use High School Musical, with its message of how to face life changes and growing up, as our first show “back on the boards!” We are happy you are here with us tonight and hope you enjoy our show!
