Tedd Byers
as Shrek
is senior this year. He has been in the Cleveland Heights A Cappella Choir all of his high school years, as well as the show choir for three total years. Outside of high school arts, he is active performing solo and barbershop quartet gigs around the community. He also sings at his church choir with former Cleveland Heights Vocal Music Director, Craig McGaughey. Byers also performed as Benny in Guy’s and Dolls, Doody in Grease, and Elijah J. Whitney in Anything Goes. He currently takes private singing and acting lessons with Carolyn Smith. Byers is also looking to major in Music Performance, as well as minor in video design. “I would like to thank my mother, father, grandmother, Mr. Lange, Mrs. Sudduth, Ms. Simeri, as well as everyone who has supported me through my high school career.”

Sophie Gilson
as Fiona (Cast A)
is a senior. She has been involved in both the Vocal and Instrumental Music Departments for 4 years (A Cappella Choir, Symphonic Winds, Jazz Ensemble and Pit Orchestra). Sophie has also sung with the youth choirs at St. Paul’s church for 10 years, and has appeared with the Western Reserve Chorale and Apollo’s Fire. She has participated in musicals since 5th grade, both in chorus and in the roles of Patty Simcox (Grease) and Chastity (Anything Goes). Sophie is in her fourth year of studying voice with Sandra Simon. She maintains honor roll, is the president of both Tri-M and National Honor Society, participates in Model UN, runs track, and will attend college next year. Sophie thanks her family and friends for their patience, love and support; Mrs. Simon, Mr. Jurns and Katie for helping her prepare for Shrek, and Mr. Lange and Mrs. Sudduth for their hard work and commitment to the program. Huge thanks to the cast and crew for a memorable final show!
