BRIAN BARNHART (Producer) has been the Producing Director at Axis Theatre Company since 2002. During this time he has produced Edgar Oliver’s first solo show, East 10th Street, (NYC, Edinburgh Fringe [winner, Fringe First Award] and Spoleto USA) as well as Oliver’s critically acclaimed In the Park, Attorney Street and Victor (NYT Critic’s pick). He also produced London Paris (also written and performed by Edgar Oliver), which premiered at La MaMa. He has produced many, many shows at Axis including both of Axis’ original musicals, Solitary Light and Evening – 1910. In 2018 he produced Kassi Dougherty’s solo show, Song of Seamus (United Solo Audience Award). PAUL CARBONARA (Composer/Sound Design) Paul is the co-composer of the Axis productions Solitary Light and Evening 1910 as well as sound designer & composer for Worlds Fair Inn; Dead End; The Western, Strangers in the World and Last Man Club (2019). He recently composed and performed alongside Edgar Oliver in Victor (NYT Critic’s pick). He was the guitarist and musical director for the seminal pop band Blondie from 1997 through 2010. He has performed with Ray Davies, Coolio, Jose Carreras and Chubby Checker among others. He has composed music for three independent movie soundtracks including Randy Sharp’s “Henry May Long” and Jyllian Gunther’s “Pull Out”.
JAKE GENERALLI (Asst. Director) trained as an actor at The Barrow Group and T. Schreiber Studio. He has appeared on stage in the off-off Broadway production of Almost, Maine (Pete/Lendall), and in the short films: "Dragon Style"; "Thank You, Neck"; "The House on Cox Curve"; and "Serendib". In addition, he has crewed on a variety of TV/film projects, as well as toured nationally and abroad as a musician.
LAURIE KILMARTIN (Asst. Stage Manager) is an Axis Company member. She was ASM/ choreographer for Rockland County: No Vaudeville at the Cherry Lane Theater; ASM for The Western, Washtington Squre; and assistant to the choreographer for Solitary Light and Evening – 1910. Axis acting credits include Dead End; Down There; the Hospital series; Woyzeck; Frankenstein; A Glance at New York (Edinburgh Festival Fringe & NYC); Julius Caesar; Seven in One Blow and the feature film “Henry May Long”.
