KARL RUCKDESCHEL (Costume Design) celebrates over a decade of Axis collaborations including: Washington Square; Worlds Fair Inn; Victor; Edgar Oliver's New York TrilogyThe Western; Dead EndEvening -1910The Vast Machine; Solitary Light; Nothing On Earth; Last Man Club; Strangers in the World and The Groundling. 

 

ERIK SAVAGE (Production Stage Manager) recently stage managed Washington Square, The Western and Seven in Blow, or The Brave Little Kid at Axis. Before this he was ASM for Edgar Oliver’s New York Trilogy here at Axis and stage-managed Edgar Oliver’s London Paris at La Mama. He's been the Axis Box Office Manager since 2014. Much love to Spencer.

 

MAEGAN SIMPSON (Director/Dramaturge) Off-Off Broadway: Almost, Maine; Beyond Therapy; Impossible Marriage; It’s Only A Play; Rumors; Ice Cream with Hot Fudge; Mental Cases in Different Places; Middletown. She is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Turning Pages Productions and executive produced the award-winning short, “Pozole”. She studied acting and directing at UMD, NYU, The Shakespeare Theatre, and The Barrow Group. 

 

DAVID ZEFFREN (Lighting Design) has been Axis Theater Company's lighting designer since 1997.

 

THE CLIPLIGHT THEATRE COMPANY (Producer) has been developing new American plays since 2008, from readings to full scale productions. Previous productions include: Maverick by George Demas & Frank Beacham at The Connelly Theater, Krapp, 39 by Michael Laurence at The SoHo Playhouse (Drama Desk Award nominee, Best Solo Show, NY Times Critic’s Pick), Levittown (NY Times Critic’s Pick) by Marc Palmieri at both Axis Theater and The Theater at St. Clements, My Green Hades by Edgar Oliver, as well as internationally, with the London and Dublin runs of Krapp, 39. Plays developed with The Cliplight Theatre have been published by Dramtists' Play Service, Smith & Kraus, Applause Books and The New York Theatre Experience.
