    Producers

    Vince is very proud to be the Producer of 'Showtune'. As Board Chairman and one of the founding members of Cloak & Daggers he is very proud of this first production of what he hopes will be a very long series of musicals and dramas on behalf of Philadelphia area service charities. A family physician by day, Vince has performed on-stage for the past twenty-five years in productions of 'Man of LaMancha', 'Fiddler on the Roof', 'Jesus Christ Superstar', 'My Fair Lady', 'West Side Story', 'Gypsy', 'South Pacific', and Jekyll & Hyde'. Directors credits include: 'Little Shop of Horrors', 'The Sound of Music' and 'Into The Woods'. It is through the love and support of his friends and family, and especially his husband Paul, that he is able to find the time, energy and enthusiasm to pursue his love of the theatre arts. Vince sends is love and admiration to the cast and crew of 'Showtune' and to Women Against Abuse. The work we do matters!

  • Laura Hope Gates

    Director

    Lauren is excited to be a part of Cloak & Daggers first production. A proud University of the Arts alum, Lauren works as an actor, director and stage manager in the Philadelphia, Delaware and Maryland areas. Next up, she will be seen in "Toxic Avenger-The Musical" at Milburn Stone Theater and will be directing "Legally Blonde" with the Wilmington Drama League next spring. Thanks to Laura, Sam, Maria and Anthony for helping to make this show happen and the fabulous cast for their dedication.

  • Maria Knieste

    Music Director

    Maria received her Honors Bachelor of Music in Choral/General Music Education from University of Delaware. She is beginning her third year as the General Music Teacher and Choir Director at Anna P. Mote Elementary School in Wilmington where she also directs a yearly elementary school musical; most recently Disney's, "The Lion King Kids!" In addition, Maria teaches piano privately and is co-director of the Wilmington Children's Chorus Neighborhood Choir at Lewis Elementary School. She recently helped establish Opera Delaware's 'Summer Learning Collaborative' and serves as Elementary General Music Chair on the Board of the Delaware Music Educator's Association. Other credits include Music Director for "Nunsense: The Mega-Musical", Pianist for "Fiddler On The Roof", "Memphis" "Once Upon A Mattress", "Little Shop of Horrors" and "Next to Normal". Thanks to Sam, Lauren, Laura and the rest of the production.
