Megan Holcomb
as Sylvia
Megan is excited to be making her debut with Compass Players in SYLVIA. Her previous credits include Alison Davies in DEMDIKE'S DEVILS with Space 55 Theatre. Madam Chairperson in SPACECON 16, solo performer in MEDEA REDUX, Danny in SEXUAL PERVERSITY IN CHICAGO, and the narrator/host for medical instructional videos with the ASU College of Nursing. She is a Phoenix native and studies advanced acting with Duane Daniels at the Actors Workhouse. She is grateful, as always, to her family for their love and support. She also thanks her dog, Shea, for her guidance on proper dog-like movement.

Dave Golden
as Greg
Dave was last seen as Andrew in LOVE LETTERS and George Schneider in CHAPTER TWO here at TheaterWorks. He is an award winning gourd artist and carver of wood and stone and has recently dabbled with painting on canvas. The actor in him did not show itself until 2011 when he auditioned for the play YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU performed by the SCG Drama Club. That’s when he caught the acting bug. He had been with the SCG Drama Club since 2011 appearing in RUN FOR YOUR WIFE, LONE STAR, THE GAZEBO, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, PAJAMA GAME, THE MOUSETRAP and MARY MARY. In 2015, Dave became a founding member of COMPASS PLAYERS. He would like to thank the other points on the compass for making this such an enjoyable endeavor. To his wife Brenda who has to live with all the different characters that he becomes during a production (sometimes he thinks she likes them better than him), thank you with love.

Frances Murphy

Frances moved to Arizona in the summer of 2007 unaware of two things: just how hellishly hot the summers really are here, and second, that she would find her way back to the stage. Since '07 she has appeared in 14 productions for local West Valley audiences and she has been privileged to work with many outstanding directors and acting teachers, including Jeanna Michaels. Her favorite roles include April Green: HOT*L BALTIMORE, Myrtle Webb: OUR TOWN, Claire Ganz: RUMORS, Madame Arcati: BLITHE SPIRIT, Miss Casewell: MOUSETRAP, and was last seen as Faye Medwick in CHAPTER TWO. Frances is an award-winning art quilter having shown her quilts locally, nationally and internationally. She thanks everyone for their support and encouragement. A special thank you to her fellow Compass Players for trusting and sharing this amazing journey, and to her Airedale Terriers, Whitney and Ziggy, for patiently running lines with her without judgment or comment.
