Kayla is thrilled to be a part of a DMR production for the first time! Kayla has been a part of other arts communities in the area: Charlottesville Ballet, Four County Players, and Live Arts included. She has had a wonderful time technical directing and helping these students create their magical, powerful world.

Dakota Duncan
Costume Designer
Dakota is pleased to be costuming this fabulous cast. Her previous credits cover costume design for shows such as Junie B. Jones and Pirates Past Noon at DMR Adventures as well as Cry-Baby and The Wolves at Live Arts Theater.

Austyn Nowell
Lighting Designer
Austyn Nowell is a rising senior at Charlottesville High and is extremely grateful to have had the chance to work with such an amazing cast and crew. He has previously worked on shows such as Mamma Mia and Heathers at CHS. He hopes you enjoy the show and all the fantastic lights.

Maddie Chin
Assistant Stage Manager
Maddie is a rising freshman at Monticello High School, and she's very excited to work on Hairspray Jr.! She has a number of DMR credits, working backstage or on tech crew for multiple productions, but one of her most recent credits is joining the YLP, or the Youth Leadership Program. She enjoyed working on this breathtaking show and hopes you enjoy it as much as she does!

Christina Cooper
Assistant Stage Manager
Christina Cooper is a ninth grader at Monticello High School. This is her first time behind the scenes, but she most recently performed in NYC for ITheatrics' 13 Jr., and played Eponine in Les Mis and Crutchie in Newsies at DMR. Aside from theatre, she also loves basketball and lacrosse. She is so thankful for this experience, and has had so much fun working with everyone!
