A person's a person no matter how small!

YOPP! This show has been one of the most intense, monstrous, hour-consuming, yet thrilling and fun shows I have ever had the chance to produce!! The process began back in March, when I began researching different shows that would be an excellent fit for our school. Tonight you will bear witness to the work of 100+ students, ranging from kindergarten all the way through seniors (there are students involved from every grade level K-12!) These students have been rehearsing since August! Both cast and crew members have put in many long hours (inlcuding many weekends for set construction) perfecting the show, as well as creating the various set and prop pieces you will see.
It has been such a joy to see students of all ages become a theatre family and work together to create this production. The memories they have made are unique and the teamwork that has been forged is like none other. The common message you will hear over and over in the show is that "a person's a person no matter how small." We all have something special to offer in this world no matter who we are!
Sit back and enjoy a performance full of a multitude of musical numbers and choreography. We open with one of the most beloved and well-known Seuss characters of all time (hint: it's a feline). As the musical progresses, characters such as Horton the elephant, Mayzie and Gertrude, the Grinch, and so many more find their stories on a collision course...With 15+ choreographed numbers, hang onto your seats because once the Cat is here, there is no telling what may ensue!!
As always, thank you for your continued support of the fine arts!
