Josh Machan (12th)

as The Cat in the Hat

Josh is debuting his first main role. He enjoys watching sports, drumline, writing for the school newspaper, and working on the yearbook. His other theatre work includes LAMB summer camps/productions and performing for DV. Three years ago, he was spotlight for the last high school musical here at DV, now he’s ready to end high school with a big bang with this production!
Grace Powell (11th)

as Boy/Jojo

Grace has many accomplishments in life. To name a few: she has somehow survived 16 years on this planet and has never had a bloody nose, she is a certified scuba diver, and she has held the title of being the shortest person in her class for 6 years now. Of course, she has used this profound title to her advantage, as she landed the role of a young boy named Jojo!
Rita Norby (4th)

as Thing 1

Rita has been a fan of Dr. Suess since she was little. She loves to bake and decorate cupcakes, make people laugh, and do gymnastics tricks. Rita is so excited to be Thing One and hopes everyone who watches laughs a lot! She can’t wait to perform!
Haddie Christiansen (4th)

as Thing 2

Haddie is excited to make her theater debut in Seussical as Thing 2! In her free time, she enjoys art, reading, playing the piano and guitar and is involved in choir. Her dog and chickens keep her busy outside. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Peyton Machan (12th)

as Horton the Elephant

Peyton is an 18-year-old aspiring actor. He has been preforming since he was five years old and ever since, the stage has been his second home. He has always loved participating in theater! He also loves cooking, playing videogames, and volunteering for anyone who needs help. He hopes all of you prepare to have your minds blown with all of the talent from the entire cast!
