Rory Biggs - Angel Schunard/Maureen Johnson understudy

Rory is a sophomore at Daniel Hand. This is their second musical with Hands on Stage and they’re glad to be back. In his free time he’s usually drawing or in bed, or both. She loves doing musical theater and has been doing plays and musicals since third grade. They’d like to thank Soj, Joy, Eli and crew as well as the amazing cast that made their dream of being in Rent come true.

Giovanni Edwards - Tom Collins

Giovanni is a Junior at Daniel Hand and this is his first ever production for Hands On Stage, which he’s very excited to take part in! Gio is most known for his singing and musical abilities and was a candidate for the cast of The Voice in 2020. He’s also a notable artist, who worked as an animator and designer on multiple animated productions under Channel Frederator. Gio wishes the best for the cast and crew, and hopes you’ll enjoy the show! 

Ethan Feldman - Benjamin Coffin III

Ethan is a sophomore at Daniel Hand High School, he has been in numerous shows, including Vibe. He wears the same hat every day and won’t let anyone tell him off. He likes to laugh and have as much fun while goofing around as possible.

Alayna Grenier - Joanne Jefferson understudy/Mrs. Cohen/Alexi Darling/Restaurant Woman/Company

Alayna is a freshman and excited to be in her 3rd production with Hands on Stage. She was part of Newsies as a 7th grader and loved playing Yvette in Clue this past fall. She loves all things artistic and can be found singing and dancing in Vibe, singing in choir, signing while drawing, designing clothes, and playing field hockey (well, maybe she doesn’t sing doing this last one because she’s also super competitive and wants to win the game!). Thank you to Joy, Ms. Stone, and fellow cast and crew members for filling the first year of high school with wonderful moments to cherish. Break a leg everyone!

Kassidy Layton - Mrs. Jefferson/Mrs. Marquez/Squegee Person/Company

Kassidy is a sophomore and is very excited to be a part of this year's spring musical. Layton plays Mrs. Jefferson/Ensemble/Mimi's Mom in this year's production of RENT. Some previous shows she has been a part of include Mamma Mia!, Chicago, and Anything Goes. Aside from theater, Kassidy enjoys fencing, cooking, painting, and being with her friends. She would like to dedicate this performance to her mother and #besties.

Ben Lizondro - Mark Cohen

Ben is currently attending Daniel Hand as a sophomore and has been working in the musical arts for 5 years; however, this is his first big role in a musical! Outside of academic activities, he enjoys spending time with his friends and furthering his development in piano. Ben would like to thank his family, who’s been super supportive of everything he’s worked for, and is looking forward to an amazing show!

Danielle Luongo - Homeless Person/Company

Danielle is a Sophomore in High School and this is her second Daniel Hand production. She is excited to play the Homeless man and be a part of the ensemble in Rent. She had a lot of fun working with an amazing cast and crew.  Besides acting, she likes to hang out with her friends and family, sing, and bike with her dad.  She wants to thank Joy and Mrs. Stone for making this musical happen. She also wants to thank her family for supporting her and wishes everyone luck!
