Jackson Polisky - Gordon/Mr. Jefferson/Mr. Grey

Jackson is a sophomore and this is his first time acting at Daniel Hand. He does a lot of singing with the school, because he is in chorus, encore, and plans to do Concert Choir next year. Outside of school, he does rock climbing, spends time helping out at his church, and enjoys playing with his dog Vally. He loves RENT and everybody involved in it, and can’t wait to perform.

Alex Price - Pam/Company

Alex is very excited to be in her first Hands on Stage show.  She has enjoyed performing as long as she can remember and hopes this will be the first of many performances at Daniel Hand.  Alex wishes the best of luck to the cast and crew of RENT.

Chloe Rachler - Mimi Marquez

Chloe is a Freshman, and is excited to be a part of her first production at Hand. Chloe is also a member of VIBE and Encore. Since a very early age Chloe has been in many ballet productions for New Haven Ballet. She has always enjoyed the stage. She would like to thank Mr. Soja, Joy, and Ms. Stone for encouraging her throughout this process. She would also like to thank the cast and crew for all their hard work. Most importantly, she would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her. Chloe hopes you enjoy the show!

Ariana Simo - Maureen Johnson/ Mimi Marquez understudy

Ariana is thrilled to be a part of Hand’s production of “Rent.” Most recently, she has performed Cosette in "Les Miserables" with Wagner Iovanna Studio Productions with whom she is a regular performer at their frequent cabarets singing anything from jazz to musical theater to opera! She is also a member of Daniel Hand’s award winning show choir VIBE. Other noteworthy stage credits include “Into the Woods,” “Shrek Jr,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “Elf Jr.” She has worked under the direction of Wayne Cilento (A Chorus Line, Wicked) as a soloist at NYC’s Symphony Space in “Love Cures: A Benefit for the Abused Child’s Soul.” In addition to her love of musical theater, she is a prolific singer songwriter and hopes to release her first album in the near future. Ariana would like to thank her parents for always supporting her to reach for the stars.

Eloise Strabley - Angel Schunard understudy/Paul/Company

Eloise is, contrary to popular belief, a junior at Daniel Hand, and not a freshman. This is her fourth show she's participated in at Hand, and she’s so excited to be in Rent, it’s one of her favourite musicals. In her free time, she draws, writes, and lip syncs musical numbers in her bathroom mirror. She is so excited to be performing alongside such an awesome cast, and hopes everyone has a great time!

Annabelle Tore - Blanket Person/Roger's Mom

Annabelle loves to play the hit game Among Us in her free time. Whilst searching for the imposter, she loves to sing along to the RENT soundtrack. She would also like to thank her cast and crew for making this the most pogchamp experience ever. The artichokes are coming!

Maddy Wines - Joanne Jefferson

Maddy is a Sophomore at DHHS and this is her first production with Hands on Stage. She is a member of VIBE, flag squad, student leadership, and dance team. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her in her musical endeavors. She would like to wish the whole cast and crew a good luck!

Theo Zucconi - Roger Davis

Theo is 15 years old and is a sophomore at the Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven. He played Professor Plum in the last Hands On Stage Production, Clue, and will be in Songs For A New World, later this year. He thanks and congratulates the Rent cast and crew on a successful show.
