This year’s production of “GREASE” combined the unique and varied talents of over 40 students, staff, and community members! As an Arts, Media & Entertainment Academy production, emphasis was focused not only the performance factors, but the technical aspects of theatre productions, as well. Their efforts are obvious in the tickets, program, set, costumes, lights and sound production. Outstanding!
The entire ensemble would like to say a special thank you to the following:
- The parents, family, and teachers of the ensemble, as well as, staff and school administrators for their cooperation and understanding of the huge time commitment necessary for the success of the production.
- Madeline Martinez for donating countless hours helping the production staff! Her generous and undying commitment to the production is awe-inspiring! She Rocks!
- Mr. Steve DeVoe for guiding the building hands of the set crew! His work and support of our program is priceless!
- Kathy Smith for her tireless efforts to costume “GREASE” in a professional way! The students who learned from her are beyond grateful - as am I!
- Mr. Joe Pavia and his daughter Michelle for their superior artwork! James Dean, Elvis, and Marilyn Monroe will live forever in our theatre!
- Amid Vargas for his artistry with makeup and those fabulous wigs!
- Isabel Moreno for making sure we had everything we needed, especially the mics!
- Ms. Ashlea Kirkland for her undying support of the Arts, Media & Entertainment Academy! Thank you for fighting for us!
- Mr. Sandoval for his understanding and adaptability!
- Children’s Playtime Theatre for lending us costumes and wigs!
