CJ has been in the AME academy for three years and recently was in “How To Make An American Quilt.” Playing “Danny Zuko” is his first lead role. He has discovered many talents within himself that he didn't even know he had. The AME Academy which has taught him many things that he will not forget. He would like to give appreciation to those who helped him through out the play.

Juraizy Bautista, a junior at DMHS, enjoys dancing and singing on her free time. She also enjoys going and seeing the smiles of her elementary cheerleaders. She would like to thanks her parents for dealing with her “singing” in the shower for the past 3,4 months. Lizeth is a 16 years old junior who attends Desert Mirage High School. She played the role of Angel in "Famous" and was part of the "Charlie Brown Christmas Extravaganza". She would like to thank her family for supporting her, her friends for being there, and Ms. Eskridge and Mrs. Pavia for never giving up on her. Lizeth enjoys dancing, watching movies and spending time with her friends.

Sal joined the AME Academy his freshman year and it was by far one of the best decisions of his life. He wants to thank his peers in the Academy and in "Grease," without them he wouldn't be able to do his job.HeI also wants to thank Ms. Eskridge for making him feel comfortable singing and acting in front of an audience. Last but not least, he wants to thank his mom for everything. Love you Mom!

Julianna Gaytán, a sophomore at DMHS, is thrilled to perform as Marty in Grease. She is currently involved in numerous AP/Honers classes, varsity cheerleader, serves as the AME Academy advisor, Youth ambassador at Desert Town Hall and volunteer work. She would like to thank her family, teachers, and cast for making her theater experience in high school wonderful.
