A Chorus Line - May 18 - May 20, 2022

Downey High School

 Acknowledgements

Thank you to my good friend Jef McClure for being such an amazing Music Director the fifth time and volunteering countless hours to make sure the quality of the musical is the absolute best it can be. You are loved and appreciated by every single cast member.

Thank you to Kei'la Ryan (now Maxwell) for being such an amazing Choreographer for the fourth time. We would be lost without you. You are loved and appreciated.

Thank you to Regina Chavez for agreeing to costume a show with over 60 cast members even though her daughter graduated two years ago. I do not want to see the version of this musical in an alternate universe where you did not do the costumes. I can only imagine they cast looks hideous there. Also thank you to Patty and Angie for continuing to contribute to this department that you helped build.

Thank you to Jeff Toussieng for doing all the research on how to build/order and then assemble glassless mirrors. I couldn't bare to hear glass shatter on my stage floor one more time. It would be the end of me.

Thank you to our wonderful ASL Interpreters Kyla Wilkenfeld and GinGi Teixeira Lynch for making sure every audience member gets to enjoy our musical.

Thank you to Olivia Garcia for being a dance consultant to Wyatt and coming up with the much of the choreography for "I Can Do That"

Thank you to Canes for donating food for a dinner fundraiser.

Thank you to Nicole and Cyanne Washington for hiring a few cast members so they could do the fundraiser.

Thank you to CatzSimpleCreations Event Company for hiring our students for the fundraiser.

Thank you to Wyatt Calderon, Rachelle Escurel, Andy Conde and Alyssa Abando for being the cast members who agreed to do the fundraiser after a long Saturday rehearsal.

Thank you to Catherine Escurel for putting all of that together for us. Our costumes would have been incomplete without your creative fundraising idea.

Thank you to all of the parents who donated food and beverages to our cast for our many late night rehearsals.

Thank you to my daughters, Zoe and Gwen, for your presence at our rehearsals and in my life. I know it is not easy to have a father who rehearses so long day after day. I appreciate your patience and understanding. Getting to raise you is the greatest honor of my life. You two are everything to me and I love sharing my love of musical theatre with you.
