Aarya Holtzhausen

as Miss Honey

Aarya is playing the role of Miss Honey in “Matilda Jr”. She is eleven years old and is excited about being part of her third musical at school. When she isn’t on stage, she loves spending time with her friends, swimming and playing the piano. Aarya has been learning the piano since she was six years old and her dream is to play at Carnegie Hall one day. She would like to thank her teachers and family for always supporting and encouraging her.
Alyzah Mohammed

as Big Kid Ensemble / Big Kid 2

Alyzah is excited to make her acting debut in Dunecrest’s “Matilda Jr”, as Big Kid 2. She has previously helped the Secondary School’s musicals as backstage curtain crew in “Anything Goes” and costume crew in “The Lion King”. Alyzah is in the 4th grade and enjoys track and field, basketball, and learning new sports. Alyzah wants to thank her big sisters Alysha and Alynah, big brother Riyan, mom, dad, and her Auntie Jessie for always encouraging her to do her best.
Amy Maksoudian

as Hortensia

Amy is thrilled to act in her first play, Dunecrest's “Matilda Jr”, playing the role of Hortensia. She's a proud 3rd grader and loves participating in school activities. Outside of school, Amy enjoys dancing, piano lessons, and excelling in tennis. Amy wants to thank her family for supporting her, especially her sister who encouraged her to sign up.
Anna Gulya

as Mrs. Wormwood

Anna is so excited to play Mrs. Wormwood in "Matilda Jr". She has been at Dunecrest since 2019 and was in "Anything Goes" last year as well. In her free time, she likes singing, dancing, acting, and football . She would like to shout out her brothers Richard and Raymund and her parents for supporting her.
