Head Stage Manager

This is Shania’s third year with the ECC theater family, having graduated from East Central College last year she is very grateful for the opportunity to further her stage management skills with the theater department. Having mentors from the theater faculty as well as the community members means the world to her. She especially wants to shout out ASM Mechelle, who even though she is new to the technician family, is such a hard worker and Shania couldn’t imagine the process without her. Last but not least, she is thankful for the incredible cast, crew, and creative team!

Mechelle has been a part of the stage for about 7 years now, but this is her first year in an ECC production. After being mostly an actor, she was excited by the idea of expanding her knowledge of the stage while also taking acting and directing classes at ECC. Along with learning all of these new and exciting things, Mechelle is delighted to get to know and work with all of these awesome cast and crew members as they put in all this hard work!
