I had heard so much about this play from my friends when it was announced and they were all so excited about it. While I had never heard of it, after watching the last show and words of encouragement to join the musical from the Syswerdas, I decided I wanted to be in it. The whole cast is amazing, and I've loved rehearsal and the opportunity to be Jack.

I’ve been doing theater since my freshman year and love it so much. When I heard that we were doing Newsies, I was super excited! I love the cast. They are great people and love the show so much. I am so blessed with the opportunity to play Katherine and want to not only thank my parents and Mrs. Goble but also all of you coming out tonight! Thank you and enjoy!

I joined the Eastbrook Theater program in the spring of my sophomore year after I was invited to audition 15 minutes before. I have always enjoyed the performing arts, and I hope you enjoy the production of Newsies as much as I have enjoyed preparing for it. Thank you for joining us tonight to share this experience together. Enjoy the show!

I'm thankful for my family, cast members, and Mrs. Goble for encouraging me to be the best that I can be. I'm thankful that Ben listened to me and auditioned for the show. But most of all, I'm thankful for the friends that I’ve made the past four years. Whether you’ve already graduated or not, you guys are what made theater worth the struggle. I love you and I’ll miss you.

Here's the headline: I'm the sassy 9 year old kid that shows up randomly throughout the show. I have been in theater since my freshman year. I was Zaneeta in The Music Man, and from there on I was hooked. I decided I would keep doing theater. Thank you to my friends, family, and the community for being supportive. Also, thanks to the cast for making rehearsals a blast!
