Esther Henson
Director
Esther serves as the choral director of Una Voce, and also on the music staff of Forest Lake Education Center. Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Music Man are just a few of the shining examples of her talent and love for musical theater. Throughout her thirty plus years of directing young vocalists, Esther has shared her love of the musical arts in directing choral festivals from the east coast to the west. She is a member of both NafME and AMA and continues to be passionate about keeping music education in our schools. Esther made her directorial debut in 2017 with Una Voce’s first musical production, The Music Man Jr. Most recently, in 2019, she directed Una Voce in The Sound of Music. When not in the classroom, Ms. Henson enjoys her precious grandchildren, traveling, and reading.

Aletha Braithwaite
Producer
Aletha has been involved with Una Voce since 2014 when she had two daughters in the group. Aletha developed a love and passion for music, the students, and the community outreach and performance opportunities that Una Voce has brought. She recognized a need for helping the group reach greater heights and has been a volunteer assistant to the director for seven years. This is Aletha’s fourth theater production. She was Production Manager for Una Voce’s performance of Music Man Jr. in 2017, Singin’ in the Rain in 2018 and The Sound of Music in 2019. When she is not assisting Una Voce, Aletha works part time as a physical therapist. She is the mother of three college students. She enjoys spending time with her family at the beach, camping, and traveling.
