G2K... Oklahoma! - November 07

Forest Lake Education Center

 End Notes

I am so proud of this production! The quality of the cast, stage crew, and supporting committees has been fantastic. It has been two years since Una Voce last performed a musical production, and we have missed the stage. This evening, I’m reminded of the importance of the arts in our lives, of the value commitment  and hard work teach us, and most of all that we are better together than apart!

There is a special joy I feel in watching the success of these students. They have worked incredibly hard, both in rehearsal and on their own time. They have discovered that cooperation, mutual respect, and teamwork brings about great show!

I would like to thank Aletha Braithwaite, Laura Breece, and Eric Prusia for the countless hours and late nights each of you have put in to this production.

To my students, my extended family of thirty-three precious kids - I am so proud of you! The long hours and dedication you have given have paid off. We have laughed, danced, cried and applauded each other as this production has taken shape.

As we move forward into what seems a “new territory” in our world, remember it matters not what our differences may be, farmer or the cowman, we should all be friends! “Don’t forgit”!

Ms. Esther
