This production has been a great experience for everyone involved!  We could not do what we do without the gracious help and understanding of the following people and organizations:

  • Thank you to the Fort Payne City Board of Education for the continual support and constant focus on the arts in our school system.

  • Thank you to Superintendent Jim Cunningham who has seen this program grow and evolve over the years.  We are nimble and flexible largely with your guidance.

  • Thank you to Maurey Roberts and the DeKalb theatre for allowing us to perform and rehearse at your location.  Your willingness to accommodate us within your scheduling goes above and beyond every year!

  • Thank you to Mark Webb and Regan McClung at Northeast Alabama Community College for the capes!

  • Thank you to all the parents of our students!  We hear your tales of young thespians learning to express the human condition on Saturday mornings and on Thursday nights.  The dinner table conversations held in character are quite entertaining!

  • Thank you to the students.  You all are amazing in your own right!  The ability to transform a stage, empty and devoid of emotion into art that transports yourself and your audience is a talent which will give you confidence and motivation for the rest of your lives!

  • And lastly; Thank you to the Crawford family.  You guys put up with me through the writing, revision, rehearsal, stress and frustration.  If it were not for you, I would not be able to guide this department.  I love you with all that I am!
