    Executive Director

    Ms. DelSignore is a 30 year veteran teacher of public schools as a Teacher, Principal, School Improvement Specialist and professional Vocalist. She recently returned to teaching at AHN to be closer to her family.Ms. DelSignore started her career at Cohoes Public Schools where she was the Director of The Cohoes Marching Tigers, a nationally award winning high school marching band. She was also the founder and director of the Cohoes Middle School and High School Concert Bands, Jazz Ensembles, Concert Choirs, Jazz Choirs and Elementary and High School Dance Ensemble. These groups performed annually in the Thanksgiving Day Parade, The New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade, The Disney Electric Light Parade, the NYS Commissioner of Education Holiday Dinner. The NYS Board of Education State Dinner, and countless national competitions across the country. She is also active in NYSSMA as an All State Adjudicator.

    Sound Engineer

    Mr. Doig is a summa cum laude graduate of the RPI. His current position at RPI is Director of Communications and Infrastructure. Mr. Doig has been studying classical piano and jazz literature since he was nine years old. He has performed with dozens of big bands, jazz bands and musical theatre groups as musical director, synth player, accompanist, trombonist and pianist. He has performed with such musical artists as Aretha Franklin, Tommy Tune and the Pack Rats. Many times you will also find him as orchestra member at Proctor’s Theater for many visiting Broadway Musicals such as WICKED, MISS SAIGON, and dozens more. Mr. Doig also utilizes his engineering background as a sound engineer for many school musicals in the capital district. In addition, Mr. Doig created the first computer scheduling program for NYSSMA, for their Solo and Ensemble festivals. This program is responsible for scheduling more than 15,000 students who attend these festivals.

    Kimberly Benkert

    Artistic Director

    Kimberly trained at the Rochester Association of the Performing Arts and studied English and Vocal Performance at SUNY Geneseo. She has been a Choreographer and Assistant Director for eight productions at Academy of the Holy Names. Kimberly received her teaching credentials at the College of St. Rose and is a full-time general music/chorus teacher in the Schenectady City School District.
