The Performing Arts at Fullerton Union High School

Fullerton Union High School, the flagship school of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, is one of the oldest comprehensive high schools in Southern California.  A rich history, strong traditions, and outstanding academics and programs make FUHS a great place for all students.  A full complement of Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), Honors, College Preparatory, and many academic support programs provide all students with the opportunity to learn and excel in an environment that is best suited to their needs.  Fullerton Union High School is the recipient of a California Distinguished School award (2005) from the California Department of Education, and a Golden Bell Award winner for outstanding Arts Curriculum.

The performing arts at FUHS have always been a strong aspect in the life and culture of the school. Fullerton is an arts community. Over the past two decades the Performing Arts have grown from a few part time teachers into the vital educational program it is today. The Performing Arts Program has six credentialed teachers, and six adjunct staff members. The Academy of the Arts at Fullerton Union High School was formed to further spotlight the success of the Visual and Performing Arts.

Be  part of a one of a kind opportunity: The Performing Arts Pathway Triple Threat Performer (T3). Students who elect to enter this program will follow a four-year pathway through high school that gives them Choral Music, Theatre, and Dance classes every year, along with additional AP and IB classes in the arts, while meeting all of the UC/CSU admissions requirements.
