Vera Kelly

In 2012 she made her directorial debut with the Gaelic Park Players’ fall production “Philadelphia Here I Come”. Vera has been an active member with Gaelic Park Players for the past 19 years. Some of Vera’s favorite roles have been Eva Kishock in “The Chastitute”, with the Gaelic Park Players, Maggie in “Dancing at Lughnasa” with the Shapeshifters Theater and Detective Beck in “Boy Gets Girl” With MVCC Theater. She is also an active at the Theater of Western Springs, where she has taken Studio I & II with Rick Snyder and a British Dialect class with Sheila Landahl. Thank you Bridget, George and Sabrina for your willingness to meet outside of the scheduled rehearsals! Thank you Tom for the opportunity! It has been a blast being back onstage at Gaelic Park again. Bridget Christianson

Most recently Bridget appeared as Asti in “The Castlecomer Jukebox”. Past credits include “Craddocks Well”, “Changing Patterns”, “The Field”, “Moll”, “Love Thy Neighbor” and “Attaboy, Mr. Synge”! When not onstage Bridget helps out with stage managing, props, costumes and basically anywhere assistance is needed! Bridget hails from Crossmaglen, Co. Armagh. She teaches part-time at Moraine Valley Community College as an instructor in the Basic Nurse Assistance Program. She lives in Midlothian. She would like to dedicate her performance to Russell, “I know you would have liked this one (miss you)”. Bridget would like to thank her family and friends for all the support. Sabrina is happy to be back with Gaelic Park Players after having first appearance with them in last year's “A Wake in the West”. She is an Art Teacher on the southside of Chicago and loves what she does. She would like to thank her family and friends for the support that they give, especially her boyfriend Ben who loves to help her run lines! She would also like to give a shout out to her mom.
