is a junior who is taking a break from being an only child to play one of Ariel’s sisters in their first production at Garfield. In their free time, they enjoy learning too many instruments at once, baking increasingly fancy bread, and reading novels that are much, much older than they are.
Kai Borch*

as Grimsby

is a sophomore. This is his first musical with Garfield Theater, since last year’s musical didn’t happen because of Covid-19. He has been acting since he was in third grade, and is happiest while performing on stage. Outside of theater, he enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and listening to musical cast recordings endlessly.
Asha Budge*

as Arista

is excited to be in her first musical, The Little Mermaid! She was also brilliant as an extra street urchin in Aladdin in 1st grade but we’ll disregard that for now. In her free time, she enjoys picking up various crafts and ignoring her overdue marine science homework until she must do it to graduate. Enjoy the show!
Danielle Croom*

as Ariel

is a senior at Garfield, and is so honored to be playing the role of Ariel for her last musical here. You may have seen her as Poppy in Noises Off (2019), Wiggins in Sherlock Holmes... (2019), or That One Ensemble Member With Lots Of Red Hair in Urinetown (2018). Danielle will be attending the University of Minnesota this fall, where she plans to dabble in theatre.
