  • Mallory Ward (she/her) head shot

    Mallory Ward (she/her)

    Director

Mallory is thrilled to open GSC's 20th Season with Richard III. As a history nerd, this production has been both a labor of love and a bit stressful. She has been with the company since 2017's Antony and Cleopatra and is honored to be the current Artistic Director and Board Vice Chair. Previously Directed for GSC: The Trojan Women, The Comedy of Errors, and Dear Brutus (performed as a radio play). Assorted acting: Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice), Macbeth (Malcolm), Twelfth Night (Maria), The Tempest (Trinculo), As You Like It (Touchstone), Henry IV (Bardolph and Asst. Director), Antony & Cleopatra (Eros). She also did the costumes for 2021's A Midsummer Night's Dream and the props for Dracula. Outside of theater, Mallory does way too many crafts, loves doing puzzles, and watches a lot period dramas and documentaries. She would like to thank her sister Haley for putting up with her schedule, the cast and crew, the Garfield Park staff, and the audience.
