    Emily Maiorano is a seventh grade student and is grateful and exhilarated to be involved for her fifth performance in McCall’s annual production as “Rafiki” in ‘The Lion King.’ Previously, she has performed in numerous roles on the McCall stage such as: “Anna” in ‘The King and I,’ “Alice” in ‘Alice in Wonderland Jr.,’ “Toto” in “Oz,” and as one of the elements in the production of ‘Once on this Island.’ In addition, Emily has participated in the Walnut Street Theatre’s summer program and has received training there for four years. Also, she has performed in various operas produced with Touch of Classics company such as ‘Hansel and Gretel,’ ‘Amahl and The Night Visitors.” She has appeared in Fantasy Weavers’ operatic trilogy, ‘Sephro’ for Philadelphia’s annual Fringe Performing Arts festival. Emily has studied the technicalities of dance with training at Cooper River Ballet. Emily thanks all who supported her along the way: family, friends, and teachers.

    Anache has always had a passion for acting and singing. She loved to dress up and sing for her family every chance she could get. She also loves to write sci-fi and fantasy novels, and photography. Anache loves drama because of the creative characters she can become. Anache couldn't be happier to be part of McCall's production of "The Lion King"

    Amaya Yarborough is happy to be part of this year's production of ¨The Lion King.” You might remember her for playing the role as Thara, one of the King’s wives in McCall’s 2015 musical: “The King and I.” This year she is in the role of Rafiki, a wise and kind Mandril, who was one of Mufasa’s closest friends. Besides acting, her favorite activities to do drawing and playing the newest video games

  • Isaiah Smith head shot

    Isaiah Smith is in 8th grade, and his favorite subject is math. Isaiah is enthusiastic about his third year of McCall’s Drama Club production. Furthermore, Isaiah played the King of Hearts in Drama Club’s “Alice in Wonderland” and the Kralahome in last year’s Drama Club “King and I” production. In addition to acting, Isaiah loves to make movies, swimming and being active. Isaiah would like to thank his family for the love and support that they have given him. Isaiah also thanks his friends that helped along the way.
