Kayla Metzger as Lizzie (FD)/ Ensemble 2 (us)
Kayla has performed in Newsies and SpongeBob for Highland Middle School. Being an 8th grader, this will be her last musical at Highland. In Kayla's freetime, she likes to hang out with friends, take care of her animals, and play ping pong. Kayla looks forward to performing in Mean Girls Jr. She wants to thank her family for supporting her.
Callie Hamburg as Sophie (FD)/ Ensemble 2
Callie Hamburg has performed in three musicals. She also does cheer and dance. She is so excited to be a part of the cast for her final year at Highland. She thanks her friends and family for supporting her.
Viv Balanag as Caroline Krafft/ Ensemble 2 (us)
Vivian performed in Ensemble 2 and as Caroline Krafft in Mean Girls Jr. Vivian also does ballet, horseback riding, and contemporary dance. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her through her journey.
Reid Schamber as Mervin/ Ensemble 1 (us)
Reid is excited to be in the cast of this year’s musical! He enjoys seeing friends at rehearsal and is grateful for the support of his family and the HMS staff throughout this experience.
Liam Paddack as Maldwin/ Ensemble 1
Liam is thrilled to be part of the cast! He’s enjoyed the rehearsal process and time spent with friends. He would like to thank his family, friends, and teachers for encouraging him and helping him grow in the performing arts.
Henry (Hank) Brown as Mickey/ Ensemble 1
Henry is thrilled to be in his first production at HMS. Henry loves participating in the arts in many ways including orchestra, choir, jazz band, and theater. In addition, he has been dancing at Dancenter North in Gurnee since he was in kindergarten. Henry would like to thank the directors for their hard work and for making this show so amazing.
Margo Wonderling as Mathlete Moderator/ Ensemble 1 (us)
Margo performed in Ensemble 1 and as the Mathlete Moderator. Margo has been performing at Highland for one year and has always had a love for performing and the general arts.
Abby Marella as Sonja Aquino/ Ensemble 2
Abby enjoys playing basketball and softball and loves hanging out downtown with friends. She thanks her castmates for creating a fun, supportive environment and encouraging her to join the musical. Last year, she played an electric skate in SpongeBob.
Toby Sellers as Glen Coco/ Ensemble 2
Toby enjoys singing, dancing, acting, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends. He wants to thank his family, friends, and Apollo for the support and encouragement along the journey.
Amber Hsieh as Teary Girl/ Ensemble 2
Amber performed as Teary Girl and was in Ensemble 2. She can't wait to do more in theatre. Amber also writes stories and plays pickleball in her free time. Amber would like to thank her mom and dad for supporting her.
Emma Darst as Jessica / Ensemble 2 (us)
Emma had been a student director in the past and this is her first time on stage. She is so excited to perform. She enjoys watching movies and shows, baking, and hanging out with friends.
