Amanda Mercer
Director
Amanda Mercer - loves to be on stage but equally loves the technical and backstage work. Amanda collected most of her experience in technical theater while working as a union stagehand. Providing assistance to national Broadway tours that visited Southwest Florida. Amanda has been a member of Highlands Lakeside Theater since moving to Highlands County in 2006. She directed the Zenon winning best show of the year Hairspray and looks forward to directing The Addams Family musical this summer. Amanda enjoys working with the youth theater program where she believes she tries to give the message that "theater is more than just the spotlight, backstage is where the magic happens!" She encourages everyone who loves theater, to have longevity in the art, find a technical field that you love as well and nurture it.

Tom Staik
Assistant Director
Tom Staik has appeared in Sensuous Senator as Congressman Jack Maquire, A Higher Place In Heaven as Son, the Greater Tuna series as the Thurston Wheelis set of characters, 1776 as the congressional secretary, Cat In A Hot Tin Roof as Brick, Music Man as Mayor Shinn, Godspell, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, and 9-to-5 The Musical.

Candice Anders
Music Director
Highlands County, where she appeared on the HLT stage, including HLT’s 1995 production of Gigi. When her husband recently retired from the military, Candice returned to Highlands county and HLT, where she has since appeared in Mamma Mia and 9 to 5. She has also kept busy as the Music Director and social media guru for 9 to 5 and DRS. Candice has been a music educator for 18 years, teaching in both classroom and private settings. She has directed many concerts and youth shows, including The King & I and Willy Wonka Jr.
