     Josh McGhee is a veteran teacher in Highlands County with 13 years of teaching under his belt. He's also no stranger to the stage at HLT. His first stage appearance was in 2001 during his freshman year of high school performing in West Side Story. He landed his first major role as Judas in HLT's production of Jesus Christ Superstar, directed by Tammie Pollard. He has starred as Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Horton in Seussical the Musical, Mereb in Aida, Enjolras in Les Miserables, The King in The King and I, and many more. Shrek is one of Josh's dream roles and he is grateful to be given the opportunity!

    Hannah Summer has been a part of the HLT community for several years now and can be found volunteering her time on the stage and off. She has been in shows such as Mamma Mia, 9 to 5, The Marvelous Wonderettes, and now Shrek. She has also been a part of the Summer Theater Institute for four years as a camp counselor and lead set design and art. She won a Zenon for Set Art for Matilda and Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. She would like to dedicate this show to her late father who always loved the movie SHREK and made it a family staple for movie nights, and to her husband who has been so supportive through this entire process. She says, “Thank you HLT for continuing to allow me to express my art through multiple avenues, and thank you, Cassidy Hitt, for being my right hand woman for set art and always taking on the monstrous challenge that is teaching me to dance well enough for the stage.”

    Jordon Thomfohrde While Jordan is a new face to HLT, having done his first show earlier this season, he has been a part of over 50+ shows in his life. He recently relocated to Highlands County from his hometown of Ft. Lauderdale. His past notable roles include Frederick Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein, Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet, the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, both Princes in Into the Woods, and Major General Stanley in Pirates of Penzance. Jordan is honored to have had the opportunity to work with this cast and crew.
