Amanda Mercer

Amanda is excited to be bringing this hilarious musical to the stage. Amanda was last seen as Miss Andrews in Mary Poppins.  Before that, she appeared as Omaha Nebraska in Second Samuel, a role in which she earned the 2017 Zennon Award for Most Outstanding Supporting Actress. When not on stage, Amanda enjoys directing and working with the youth theatre program at HLT. Her last two directing projects were the 2016 Zenon Best Show of the Year, Hair Spray, and this season she directed All Shook Up. When not at HLT, Amanda enjoys singing classic country hits at local events. She loves her theatre family. She thanks her husband Dewayne and her entire family for their love and support.

Frank Oberhausen (Lighting Designer)

Frank has directed The King and I, Guys and Dolls, Annie Get Your Gun, The Sound of Music, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, La Cage Aux Folles, Camelot, Carolusel, My Fair Lady, Funny Girl, Music Man, South Pacific and many others.  As an actor Frank won best actor for the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Sakini in The Teahouse of the August Moon, and best supporting actor (twice) for Hysterium in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.  Frank is a multiple Zenon Award winner in virtually every production and service area of HLT including acting, directing, lighting and set design, as well as recipient of the Janelou Buck Significant Achievement Award.  He was voted by our membership to be the first HLT Life Member. Frank was the lighting designer for HAIR SPRAY, winner of the Zenon Award for Best Play in the 2017 season. (too many lights?)
