Nana's Naughty Knickers - March 29 - April 14, 2019

Highlands Little Theatre

 End Notes

Dear Friends of HLT,

I have been volunteering my services to our lovely community theater for over 6 years now and I am always truly amazed at the comradery here. For each show I have helped in I am in awe of how our little community theater comes together to make such beautiful moments on stage for our wonderful patrons to sit back and enjoy.

We all have our wishes and dreams to do something wonderful in life and I can honestly say the minute I walked into Highlands Little Theatre I knew I wanted to not only act on stage but also Direct a show of my own one day. I recently directed Twelve Angry Men in the Thakkar’s Pavilion and the minute my feet got wet was the second I knew I wanted to continue this path and one day have my own mainstage show. Well, this day has finally come, and I am truly excited to be directing Nana’s Naughty Knickers with my wonderful cast and crew.

We all have a Nana that enjoys her oddities in life, wants to live life to the fullest and just be herself no matter the consequences, well, this Nana is no exception! I was very grateful to be introduced to this script and I am very excited to be directing this show with this amazing cast and crew as well!

I would personally like to thank the PSC committee for giving me this wonderful opportunity to direct my very first mainstage show. I would like to thank Amanda Mercer for mentioning Nana’s Naughty Knickers to me. To my awesome friends, Erika Coleman, Michele Urda and George Miller you guys are amazing and I thank you for all your help and support! To Kevin Hacker, thank you for being there for me since day one!! To my awesome cast and crew, you guys have been so supportive and encouraging. I am so thankful to have such an amazing cast and crew to work with! Thank you for all your hard work, the wonderful laughs we have shared and the friendships that have grown.

To my wonderful and supporting husband, Luis, you have been my rock and have encouraged me to not give up and continue to do what I love to do. I thank you for allowing me to do what I love best and I thank you for putting up with my many hours away from home, but most of all thank you for waiting for me to get home and for saying “I love you” each night. To my babies, Noah and Angelina, who always say, “mommy have fun at the theater” and “I love you” as well, thank you for being my mini supporters and fans. I love you both so much!

Thank you, Friends, for your support at HLT. We are grateful you are here, and I hope you enjoy the show.

Sincerely,
