In a way it is hard for me to claim this work since this is a dream cast full of extraordinarily talented people who have brought their genius to the stage. As the Director of this show, I have been blessed to work with the talents of Jennifer Westergom, who was the Technical Director and assisted in Artistic Directing as well. We have worked on many projects together and I am constantly amazed by her dedication and ability to create “professional” theatre. Suzanne Schilfarth and Jackie Johnson have been by my side from the beginning. Their support has been the glue that has held this production together from inception to realization. To my many builders, and lighting designers, you have given me exactly what I was wanting from the beginning- thank you! To Gary Johnson and Christi Hagen who shared music and band direction on this show, you are ridiculously talented and I couldn’t have done this production without you. To my Mom, Olivia Scott, I treasure your time, talents, and I know when you costume a show for me, it will be beautiful and perfect. To my crew, band and cast, I couldn’t have asked for a greater group of people to make my job easier. I look forward to watching you every night. In our play, it says that Sun Records is a place where the soul of a man never dies and that is what you have created here- a piece of work that is soulful, magical, & timeless.
