Elise Short
Director
Elise Short (Director) has been a member of Highlands Lakeside Theatre for 16 years. She was recently seen as Rapunzel in Disenchanted, Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, and the Comic in Happy Hour at Pink Place. She is passionate about directing and has directed Brighton Beach Memoirs, Liv After Death (an original play) and many Jr. shows for our Summer Theater Institute. Elise has a BFA in Theater with a concentration in Music from Florida Atlantic University. Elise would like to thank her incredible husband, her friends and family for their unwavering support!

Margaret Macbeth
Assistant Director
Margaret Macbeth (Assistant Director) has been involved with HLT since 2016. She has performed many roles over the years, including Winifred Banks in Mary Poppins, Sibella in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, and Belle in Disenchanted! She also currently serves as the social committee chairperson. She wishes to extend a special thanks to her husband, Andrew, and her children for their support, love, patience, and understanding during the rehearsal and run of this show. Margaret is thrilled to be a part of this production and hopes you enjoy the show!
