    Director

    Larry Moore has been a member of HLT for seven years experience as an educator, producer, acting coach, and public speaker in the U.S. and abroad. In 2005, Larry and his wife Rachel, launched Moore Performing Arts, Inc., which has produced several stage and film productions. In 2024 Larry won Best Actor at the South Eastern Theatre Conference performing Happy Sad.

    Assistant Director

    Andrew Macbeth is honored to be assistant directing ‘Rent’ under Larry Moore. He recently co-assistant directed ‘Disenchanted!’ along with Marcus Conerly under Jen Westergom. Andrew is grateful to his family and friends for their love and support, but owes his return to the theater to the love of his life, his muse and music, Margaret. Lastly, Andrew would like to thank his little monkey, Elia, and tiny Thomas, Joseph, for being so wonderful and patient while daddy plays make believe without them.

    Jen has been a member of HLT for almost 30 years and has directed many shows such as Les Miserables, Mary Poppins, Mamma Mia!, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Disenchanted!. Rent is one of the shows that made her fall in love with musical theater. She would like to thank Larry for having the courage, confidence, and passion to bring it to the HLT stage. She would also like to thank her husband who has always supported her in all things theater over the years.

    Gary Johnson

    Sound Design/Band Leader/Keyboards/Set Construction

    Gary lives in Sebring with his wife Jackie, who is the Stage Manager for this production. He enjoys volunteering on all levels at HLT, and is a member of our Board of Directors, as well as being the Sound Committee Chairperson. Beyond music and sound, Gary also contributes through acting and set constructuon. Look for him, on and off stage, participating in many of our upcoming shows.
