Mrs. Rebecca Barger, Artistic Director
Mrs. Barger has started her tenth year as a teacher and director at HFHS and she feels privileged to be at such an amazing school with such wonderful and talented students. Mrs. Barger has a bachelor’s degree in English, theater and theology with a religious education concentration from Franciscan University of Steubenville, in Steubenville, Ohio. While getting her undergraduate degree Mrs. Barger was active in the theater and enjoyed playing many roles as well as directing her own performance of the medieval play “Everyman” for the university. She also has a master’s degree in secondary English education. Mrs. Barger looks forward to being a part of many more successful productions at HFHS!
Mrs. Talise Chandler, Music Director
Mrs. Chandler joined the Holy Family faculty in January 2020 as the Vocal Music Director and is excited to be the Musical Director for Freaky Friday! Mrs. Chandler holds her degress in Piano Performance and Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She has performed with many choirs, in Opera scenes and choruses, directed and performed Take Note Singers commuunity vocal ensemble for many years, taught private voice and piano, K-12 music, and conducts for the Boulder Area Music Teachers Association's Multiple Piano Festival concert. A Colorado native who loves her family, the outdoors, yoga, and dogs; Mrs. Chandler also loves musical theater and among her favorites are The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Wicked, and Hamilton. She wishes the cast and crew the best- they are amazing!
Ms. Danielle Flores, Intern Director/Choreographer
Dani is currently pursuing her bachelor degrees in Music Education and Theatre Arts at the University of Northern Colorado. She has had the privilege of performing, directing, and costuming in many stage productions across Northern Colorado including Dogfight (Boulder Dinner Theatre), Joseph, Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rock of Ages, Songs for a New World, and Cabaret! Dani feels so blessed to have had the opportunity to choreograph and intern direct for such a remarkable production. She would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this show- dance captains, technicians, and especially Directors Rebecca Barger and Talise Chandler for their support, guidance, and their dedication to live theatre (especially through the ongoing public health crisis). Other “Thank Yous” include Katherine Candler, Lisa Cillessen, Seth Willden, Kat Greany, and Thalia Burd for their continued support, as well as Tom Barger for his craftsmanship! Dani wishes to dedicate her work on this production to her mother, Karen Flores. She hopes you “Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!”.
