Returns home after developing his career in NY and abroad, and is exhilarated at the chance of helping Hawaii's youth become prosperous performers. Swaine has had the pleasure of crossing many stages, and is the recepient of the NY Drama League Musical Theater Director Fellow award. Studies include: Webster University, BFA-Artistic Direction/Cultural Fusion, Graduate-Memphis University-MFA-Directing. Directing credits include: Next to Normal (TN), Hair (NY), Working (NY), A New Brain (NY), The Wedding Singer (NY), Songs for A New World (NY), Blood Wedding (NY), and workshop Black Suits (MA). Select performance credits include: La Rondine (Metropolitan Opera-NY), Becoming Dr. Ruth, As You Like It (Amiens-Shakespeare Fest.), Mame (Ito-Tour), Thomas (Sir Topham-Tour), Dell’Arte (Asia-Tour). Awards include: Best Show in Season, Next to Normal (TN), Best Director-Thailand: The Living Art (MO); Best Show, The Little Prince (TN). Swaine is a member of AEA/SDC(a).
Deanna Luster

Deanna is excited to be a part of HMS Aladdin Jr.’s production team and seeing many familiar faces from OA’s Seussical Jr. Deanna has been honored with a Po’okela Award for her choreography for Army Community Theatre’s Damn Yankees. She has directed/choreographed MVT’s Footloose, co-directed/choreographed DHT’s award winning Titanic, choreographed Jim Nabors & Friends Christmas Show at Hawaii Theatre and numerous Kaimuki High School Performing Arts Center’s (KHSPAC) and HTY Arts Ensemble and St. Andrew’s Priory productions. She teaches contemporary jazz & musical theatre dance at DHT, DHT’s Shooting Stars, Performing Arts Center at Kapolei (PACK) & OA Summer Program. Her performing credits include MVT’s Cabaret, and DHT shows such as Phantom, Cinderella, Carousel, and Titanic. She has stage-managed many KHSPAC and DHT productions.
