 Senior Goodbyes

Yasmine Alu has been involved in many Interlake productions both onstage and backstage, but her favorite role was as an emcee in Showtime Live! earlier this year. Next year, Yasmine plans to attend Northeastern University.

Jack Clark has only been in theatre for one semester as a member of the ensemble for Little Shop of Horrors. He has spent the time this semester crafting and perfecting his role as a Wino in the musical as well as his different voice acting roles, such as one of the Radio Hosts in Little Shop. One of Jack's favorite memories while in theatre was befriending his 'Co-Wino' friend, Sam Pasarakonda, as well as creating other funny memories with his fellow castmates. Jack's future plans are up in the air, but he plans on attending Western Washington University to study Business!

Amarrah Gates has loved her four years with Interlake Theatre where she has acted in and/or teched for ten shows. Favorite roles include Scuttle in The Little Mermaid and Mrs. Peacock in Clue. She will dearly miss this theatre community and all the joy it brought her, from dancing it out before shows to running on stage to fix mics during performances, Interlake Theatre has given her amazing experiences and even better friendships. Next year, she will be attending Keene State College where she will major in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. She hopes to continue participating in theatre as an adult. Much love to those who helped her through tech weeks, her family, friends, and Mr. Glover. Marmar Out.

Pearl Lau started theatre in junior year and ended up getting cast for both seasonal plays like You Can’t Take It with You and The Little Mermaid, both plays were incredible but my favorite moment was definitely when I got pushed and fell during The Contest in The Little Mermaid as one of the princesses. It was a very shocking moment that really added to the scene. My favorite tech role is when I did spotlights for Clue. It really is the best spot for watching the show. Next year I plan to build a career in performing arts in Canada.

Rhea Opstad has been a part of the crew in a few Interlake Theatre productions, including The Little Mermaid, Clue, Showtime Live!, and Little Shop of Horrors. Rhea has ushered some, additionally filming & editing these productions (mostly by themself). While Rhea hasn’t always been in theatre, they’ve greatly enjoyed the time they had. My favorite memory as the crew was in Clue when the bread rolled off the stage by accident. Next year, Rhea will be majoring in Film & Digital Media at UC Santa Cruz.

Sam Pasarakonda has been a part of multiple Interlake Theatre productions, but his favorite roles were being in the Ensemble this year and Sailor in The Little Mermaid. His favorite memories include performing “Under the Sea” with the whole cast on stage and playing a Wino this year with Jack Clark. Next year, Sam plans to attend the University of Washington.
