Jason Summers
Director and Choreographer
Mr. Summers proudly continues his work as Resident Director of the Iona University Players having helmed productions of Rent, Cabaret, Into The Woods, Bye Bye Birdie, and The Addams Family in recent years. Mr. Summers is the Co-Owner and Artistic Director of the Westchester Sandbox Theatre, an educational theatre company in Mamaroneck that offers young performers the opportunity to shine on stage year- round. As a director and choreographer, recent credits include Beauty and the Beast, Seussical, Mean Girls, Curtains, The Little Mermaid, and First Date. Mr. Summers also spends time on stage, having recently played the roles of Karl and Steve in Clybourne Park and soon to play Dennis in The Play That Goes Wrong.

Assitant Director
is a senior studying biology. She is thrilled to be a part of her sixth production with the Players. You may have previously seen her assistant directing Iona’s Rent, Cabaret, Into the woods, and Bye Bye Birdie. She would like to thank the production team and the cast and crew for their dedication, her parents for their continuous support, and the Iona Players for giving her a home at Iona these past 4 years.

Iona's inaugural Director of Performing Arts with nearly two decades of experience in film, TV, and theatre. A graduate of Lindenwood University (BFA) and the Circle in the Square Theatre School, and a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. Love always to Brian, Shea, Fitz & Mom.
