Lori Sessions

Director, Technical Director

has been teaching at her alma mater for over 25 years. She holds a BA in Theatre and a MS in Education from Florida State University and has previously been named JP Taravella's Teacher of the Year, Broward County Arts Teacher of the Year, is a member of the Broward Education Hall of Fame and an honorable mention for the Excellence in Theatre Education Award (Tonys) She has directed countless shows including productions of Ragtime, Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast and On The Town showcased at the Florida State Thespian Festival and Singing in the Rain’ and Leading Ladies which won the best Musical and Play respectively for the South Florida Cappies. She serves as Assistant State Director for Florida Thespians, Chair for South Florida Cappies and as District 7 Thespian Chairperson. Stage Manager

is a Senior. She worked on props crew for the musical Babes in Arms and was Props Designer The Wizard of Oz and The Romancers and the play Bethel Park Falls. This school year she was the stage manager for the musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. In her spare time, she likes to read and hang out with friends! She would like to thank her family, friends, and Mrs. Sessions for the all support they have given her.

Hair and Makeup Designer

is a junior and very excited to be a part of her 6th production at Taravella! Previoulsy you have seen her as Philia in A Funny Thing...Forum. This is her first time designing for a mainstaged show and thrilled to see her designs come to life. She wants to thank her family and friends for their support, and she hopes everyone enjoys the show.

Lighting Designer

is a sophomore and is very excited to be in her fourth production at Taravella! She was perviously lighting designer for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and in lighting crew for Wizard of Oz. She wants to thank her family, friends, and Ms.Sessions for their endless support!
