  • Dawn Czaja

    Director and Producer

    Dawn Czaja has been teaching 4th grade at the Chittick Elementary School since 2005. In 2009, she recognized the dire need for a stronger arts program at the Chittick, and the Chittick School Musical was born. Since then, she has directed and produced seven shows: WILLY WONKA Jr, ALICE IN WONDERLAND Jr, ANNIE Jr, SEUSSICAL Jr, THE WIZARD OF OZ, CATS, and THE LION KING Jr. Throughout these productions, Ms. Czaja has seen children who sometimes feel unsuccessful in school come to life on the stage. She is so grateful to be given the opportunity to share her passion for live theater with the students of the Chittick.

  • Koriana Bradford

    Music Director

    Koriana Bradford was raised by two dedicated Boston Public School teachers. Mrs. Bradford was educated through BPS and attended Boston Latin School. Upon graduation, she earned a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music. With a love for educating children running through her blood, Mrs. Bradford went on to teach music in non-profit organizations around the city of Boston such as the Metropolitan Opera Urban Voices, Boston Urban Music Project (BUMP) and the Hamilton-Garrett Music and Arts Academy, of which she later became program director. She also served as director of music at the historic Charles Street AME Church in Roxbury. Mrs. Bradford is married with two music-loving children (ages 3 and 4) and serves as a praise and worship leader at Greater Love Tabernacle. Four years ago, she became a full-time music teacher in the Boston Public Schools. Witnessing the joy on her students’ faces when they learn a new song or musical skill is a priceless gift.
