Dear Friend,
Tonight’s event is a visible and tangible reminder to me that God is on the move here in Houston. And, I pray that when we leave this place, you and I will be convinced more than ever that we have not somehow persuaded God to bless our human efforts, but instead, that we have discovered and joined Him where He is at work in people’s lives.
There are many things to celebrate with you, as well as a few things for which to invite your prayers. We are so thankful for:
- Nearly 3,000 people who have already given generously to see KSBJ’s signals grow to ultimately cover a potential audience of 7 million precious lives so that more will experience the Hope found in Christ.
- Approximately 75% of the $5,000,000 needed to make that a reality has been given or committed. Only $1.3 million to go!
- Approval in record-setting time (8 days!) from the Federal Communications Commission to move KSBJ’s primary signal (89.3) to cover 2.3 million more people.
- The opportunity to penetrate one of the largest prison populations in the country with KSBJ, resulting in more inmates coming to and growing in Christ.
- How this campaign will enable God’s work through KSBJ to strengthen and expand in areas such as Victoria, Huntsville, Livingston, Beaumont and the “Golden Triangle”.
- The increased signal reliability that this campaign will make possible, so KSBJ is less susceptible to severe weather.
I hope you enjoy this special evening. We’ve designed it just for you! And, please pray with us that God will, even now, begin preparing the hearts of those we’ve yet to reach through KSBJ with His love, that He will provide the rest of the funds to make this possible, and that we will be effective for His purposes and His fame.
With Hope,
Joe Paulo
