Signal Celebration - December 04

KSBJ

 Letter from the Campaign Chair

Dear Friends:

Thank you for joining us for this celebration tonight of what we consider to be a pivotal moment in the life of "The Voice of Hope" - the ministry of KSBJ, one that my wife and I have fervently supported for over three decades.

As a former KSBJ board member and treasurer, I remember praying since 1989 to receive FCC approval for such a signal move and expansion, and we are elated that this happened this past year.

I consider it a true blessing to have been asked by KSBJ leadership to serve as Campaign Chair of the KSBJ Signal Campaign. I am also humbled by the almost 3000 people who have contributed so generously to this project that will help KSBJ deliver more of God's mission - through God's gift - of moving the signal into central and west Houston, and then expanding into East Texas.

I am grateful to my campaign committee, KSBJ leadership and staff who continue to work hard on this thankless task of fundraising for this project. They remain stalwart in their commitment to spread the Word of Christ through their time, talent and treasure.

As I write this today, we need an additional $1.3 million to meet our total campaign goal of $5 million that will have a lasting impact for generations and help KSBJ spread the message of Christ well beyond its current capacity.

If you have not yet made a gift to this campaign, I ask that you give prayerful consideration to come alongside us in support of this project that will allow KSBJ to potentially reach 7 million listeners. Making a gift to this campaign will ensure that KSBJ is able to reach more hearts with the hope of Christ in the way that KSBJ is uniquely situated to do.  If the Lord leads you to give in this way, it will certainly elevate the sight of others to how God is transforming our communities.

Thank you again for your presence here this evening.

Blessings,

Mark Ammerman
