Patricia Burns
as Shirley
Although Patricia Burns has acted for the camera, the stage is her first love. She has performed to both audience and critical acclaim in numerous live productions in Vancouver and Kelowna, and she has won several dramatic awards for her stage work. Some favourite roles include Bella in Lost in Yonkers, Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker and Ensemble in The Laramie Project. Of course, one of her all-time favourite portrayals is as Shirley in Shirley Valentine, a one-woman masterpiece, which she first performed for Kelowna Actors Studio in 2006 and she is thrilled to reprise.

Margaret Gobie
Director / Props Design
Margaret has a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta. She has worked as an actor and director in Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto, She has also worked in Arts Administration for the Tarragon Theatre, the Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and the Abu Dhabi International Film Festival. Here at the Actors Studio she is in Development - helping to build the Kelowna Actors Studio Academy Foundation. On stage for KAS she has directed My Son Pinnochio, Annie, Co-directed South Pacific and performed as Mickie in The Odd Couple: Female Version. She has also outfitted several KAS shows with their props. Thank you to Nate and Randy for all the opportunities.
