Michelle Thorne

An award winning, multi faceted educator and theatre artist; Michelle Thorne is thrilled to be back home in YMM directing Disney Frozen Jr. for Keyano Theatre’s Drama Force Program. Michelle has a BFA in Theatre from the University of Lethbridge, and will be receiving her MFA in Directing from the University of British Columbia this November. Previous directing credits include last years Drama Force production of Bugsy Malone Jr., as well as Lion in the Streets, Tuesdays and Sundays, and Great Slave Lake for The University of British Columbia, Steel Magnolias and The Other Side of the Pole for Keyano Theatre Company, and The Awesome 80s Prom, Fanny and Manny Tie the Knot, and The Fantastic Mr. Fox for Theatre; Just Because. Michelle will be Assistant Directing Noises Off with the Arts Club Theatre Company in Vancouver next January, and will be back directing The Great Gatsby for Keyano Theatre’s 40th Anniversary Season in the spring 2020.

Dianne Perry
Musical Director
Ms Dianne is pleased once again to be Musical Director for our 6th season of Drama Force and is very proud of all the work the kids have done this year in Frozen Jr.! A Royal Conservatory of Music Certified Piano Teacher, vocal coach, theatre & film actor, and Canadian Recording Artist, and local piano tuner, Dianne would like to thank her amazing creative team and the talented youth for creating an unforgettable experience. She would like to give special thanks to her vocal coach, Peanut. Enjoy the show!

Taylor Logan
Choreographer
Taylor is the choreographer for this year’s Drama Force Program. She is excited to be apart of Frozen Jr. She has been dancing at local studio Generation Dance Studio for 16 years and is now a full time dance teacher. She has dance training in jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, and more. Her goal for these kids was to make sure everyone was having fun and challenging themselves in some way. She hopes you enjoy the play.
